UCH, established in July 2003, is based in Villard Saint Sauveur

in the picturesque Jura region of France close to Switzerland,

well-known for precision machining.

Since its creation in 2003, UCH’s turnover has steadily increased, the company has grown to include 30 employees and we continue to invest in our future – as well as the future of our customers – with the acquisition of several CNC machines. These investments aim to meet the ever-changing requirements of our customers in the leather goods, eyewear and watchmaking industries.

Significantly, we have the capacity to manufacture products less than 60mm in diameter and 50 x 30 mm prisms.

* In late 2008, an economic downturn occurred. At that time, the company leaders decided to use 2009 to strengthen our quality control procedures and optimize production processes, in order to facilitate faster reaction times. While at the same time, we restructured our marketing objectives and expand into new marketplaces.

* In 2010, the strategic objectives of the management team are clearly visible by our diversification into new markets, which now include the aerospace, medical and transportation industries.

During 2010 and 2011, several other innovations are being implemented:

  1. we launched a renewed corporate website;
  2. We are approved ISO 9001 (version 2008) certification.
  3. Choice and launch of a new GPAO and of a three-dimensional means of control Microvu

In the future, the company will continue to exhibit our products at national and international trade fairs, such as EPHJ, Micronora and Compamed in Düsseldorf.
